Synopsis
Anastasia is a musical based on the legend of Grand Duchess Anastasia, set against the backdrop of the Russian Revolution. The story follows Anya, a young woman with no memory of her past, who sets out on a journey to discover who she is. Along the way, she teams up with two con men, Dmitry and Vlad, who hope to pass her off as the lost princess to claim a reward.
As they travel from Russia to Paris, Anya begins to uncover clues about her true identity while forming genuine connections with her companions. Meanwhile, a determined Soviet officer pursues her, threatening to unravel their plan. Ultimately, Anya must choose between embracing a royal past or forging her own future, as themes of identity, belonging, and courage take center stage.
