  • The November BHS Blood Drive is quickly approaching. Sign up now at this link to get your spot at a time that works best for you! Remember that 16-year-olds need a parent permission slip every time you donate! Grab your permission slip in the Career Center now so you don't forget! Our region is in crucial need of blood supplies. Be a superhero and sign up today!

  • "Smite! Overwatch! Rocket League! Sign ups for the Winter E-Sports season are going on now, and practices start soon. See or Email Ms. Mitola in the library for more information on joining our ever-growing e-sports teams. Bring your friends and show off your gaming skills!"

  • Girls Wrestling: Practice after school at 4:00 PM Monday through Friday

  • Parent meeting for Girls wrestling at Grant Wood Elementary 11/11 6:00 PM

  • All BOY  wrestlers 9-12 need to meet in the gym immediately after school today (Thursday) to help pull three mats down the bleachers. If everyone shows up you should have to carry down one mat and roll it to the gym doors. It should be a 5-10 minute job. 

  • All Wrestlers who have not body fat tested yet......Please report to the Boys Locker room at 7:30am Friday.  For more information check the Bett Wrestling Band App.

  • Boys Bowling Practice will be on Tuesday and Friday each week at the time above and will end at 5:30.  More details about the season will be provided at practice/open gym. Looking forward to a great season!

  • Ceramics I students from first quarter, if you have any projects in the ceramics room that you want you must come claim them or email Mrs.Puglisi by tomorrow. They will be thrown away Friday afternoon.

  • Cultural Diversity Club - Wednesday, November 12th, at 7:30 am in B202.

  • If you missed the wrestling meeting, but you would still like to go out for wrestling, please contact Coach Knight.  The wrestling season starts on November 17th

  • Spanish Club will meet TODAY in Mr. Dominguez's classroom after school. We will celebrate Día de Muertos. Anyone is welcome to attend.

  • Cultural Diversity Club's next meeting is Wednesday, November 12th in B202 at 7:35 am. All are welcome!

  • There will be an informational meeting for any girls interested in track & field this spring after school on TOMORROW, November 7th in the Cafeteria . Please see Coach Deuth in D103 with questions.

  • Are you interested in working on internships or projects for STEM fields like Science Advocacy, Aerospace Engineering, Medicine, and more? Join Women in STEM  after school on Tuesday, November 11 in Mrs. Rowland's room, D317, to discuss WiSTEM committees.

  •  German Club is meeting November 11th and 18th this month in D-270. Everyone is welcome. Let Frau Heiting know if you have any questions.

  • There will be an informational meeting for all boys interested in trying out for basketball this year in the PAC on TODAY, November 6th during PRIDE. Sign up under Coach Hoyt's PRIDE in FlexiSchedule. See Coach Vesey or Coach Hoyt with questions.  

  • All girls interested in the girls' golf team, sign up for Coach Furne's pride on TODAY, November 6th. 

  • If you are interested in learning about volunteer opportunities at UnityPoint, sign up for PRIDE in the Career Center TODAY!

Here's a look at some upcoming events with the Career Center:

  • 11/6/25 - Lunch Visit - Reps from the Marines and Army will be in the Commons from 11-1

  • 11/6/25 - PRIDE Session - The Career Center will be hosting an informational session during PRIDE to learn about opportunities for volunteering at Trinity/Unity Point

  • 11/14/25 - Future Teachers Day - If you are interested in becoming a teacher, this is for you! Learn about careers and degrees in the education field.

  • 11/20/25 - Agriculture Visit Day - We will learn about the exciting degrees and careers in Agriculture

  • 12/2/25 - Military Showcase - Meet and gain information about the various branches and opportunities in the military

  • 12/5/25 - Auto Mechanics & Collision Career Visit - We will tour a dealership and autobody shop to learn about careers in these sought after fields. A representative from Southeastern Community College will share information about their AAS degrees and programs available. 

  • Thursday November 6th, there will be representatives from the Army, Marines, National Guard, and Coast Guard in the Commons from 11-1
