Upcoming events/deadlines:
Due to cold weather and the possibility of rain, the fall movie night on the field for tonight is cancelled!! Please come to the upcoming volleyball tournament or color run instead as ways to support the student hunger drive!
Student Council is looking for volunteers to help with Hunger Drive Canvassing! This is a great opportunity to earn service hours, make a real difference in our community, and help us collect donations for the River Bend Foodbank, as well as take down PV!
Canvassing Dates:
Thursday, October 30 – after school
Sunday, November 2 – starting at 4:00 PM

BHS is hosting a color run on Sunday, November 2nd! Grab a group of friends and walk or run the 2-mile course around our campus! We will be spraying colors along the way, so make sure to wear white. Registration is $15, and the link to register is in your announcements. Register here
The 2025-26 "Surround Sound" Show Choir is looking for students interested in joining our show crew for the upcoming season! Show Crew helps out with many things, such as organizing costumes, handling props, and even moving some smaller extension risers. Below are the dates we would need you to be available, but we can be flexible!!! Please fill out this Google Form Below!

Politics Today - Every Friday during PRIDE
There will be a brief meeting TODAY (right after school) for anyone who is planning on playing or is interested in playing girls' basketball this upcoming season. You will receive general information about when practices start & you will be able to ask any questions you have at that time. The girls' basketball coaching staff is looking forward to seeing everyone there on the 29th at 1:30!
Cultural Diversity Club is not meeting this week due to finals. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 12th, at 7:30 am in B202.
FBLA - Friday, October 31st
If you missed the wrestling meeting, but you would still like to go out for wrestling, please contact Coach Knight. The wrestling season starts on November 17th
All girls interested in the girls' golf team, sign up for Coach Furne's pride on November 6th.
Spanish Club will meet next Thursday in Mr. Dominguez's classroom after school. We will celebrate Día de Muertos. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Union Showcase - Thinking of becoming an apprentice and going into the trades? We will have several unions at BHS here for you to speak with.
Future Teachers Day - If you are interested in becoming a teacher, this is for you! Learn about careers and degrees in the education field.
Agriculture Visit Day - We will learn about the exciting degrees and careers in Agriculture
Military Showcase - Meet and gain information about the various branches and opportunities in the military
Auto Mechanics & Collision Career Visit - We will tour a dealership and autobody shop to learn about careers in these sought-after fields. A representative from Southeastern Community College will share information about their AAS degrees and programs available.
