During Bullying Prevention Month, we want to remind you of your power. You have so much power to create a kind, caring and supportive community here at BHS. Think about your words and actions here at school, out in the community, and online. Do your words and actions make the world a better place, or is it time for you to make some changes and put more goodness out into the world? Join us TOMORROW, Wednesday October 22nd by wearing ORANGE for Unity. Unity means we stand together wanting to make BHS a safe and supportive community free of bullying. Stand with us, and wear orange tomorrow.

Schedule Changes for quarter 2 must be completed by noon on Friday, October 24th. Remember, schedule changes are only allowed per guidelines and may not be permitted. There are NO SCHEDULE CHANGES once quarter 2 begins. Please fill out a student submission form to be seen.
Ready to get into the Fall spirit? It is time for a spooktacular movie night at Touvelle Stadium. Bring your sweatshirts and blankets for a chilly night under the stars! The movie night will be on Wed Oct 29th. Doors open at 6:30 and the movie will begin at 7pm.

It is time for our annual class competitions for the Hunger Drive!! 4th block competitions will end TOMORROW. We are accepting cans/non-perishable food or monetary donations. The Fizz and Freeze drink truck is donating a 16-oz free drink to each student in the winning 4th block class! Any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Doherty.
Student Council is looking for volunteers to help with Hunger Drive Canvassing! This is a great opportunity to earn service hours, make a real difference in our community, and help us collect donations for the River Bend Foodbank, as well as take down PV!

BHS is hosting a color run on Sunday November 2nd! Grab a group of friends and walk or run the 2 miles course around our campus! We will be spraying colors along the way so make sure to wear white. Registration is $15 and the link to register is in your announcements. Register here
There will be a brief meeting on Wednesday, October 29 at 1:30pm (right after school) for anyone who is planning on playing or interested in playing girls basketball this upcoming season. You will receive general information about when practices start & you will be able to ask any questions you have at that time. The girls basketball coaching staff is looking forward to seeing everyone there on the 29th at 1:30!
Attention Juniors and Seniors: Mrs. Vesey, a math instructor in Davenport, is offering free ACT tutoring on Saturdays in the Davenport Central Library for the next five weeks. It's back! Our first Cozy Coloring Contest of the year is ready to go. Stop by the library to grab your coloring sheet. Entries are due TOMORROW, Oct. 22nd. Coloring pages will be displayed in the library, and winners will be announced on the following Wednesday. There is both a student and a staff division, so everyone can join in the fun!
The 2025-26 "Surround Sound" Show Choir is looking for students interested in joining our show crew for the upcoming season! Show Crew helps out with many things, such as organizing costumes, handling props, and even moving some smaller extension risers. Below are the dates we would need you to be available, but we can be flexible!!! Please fill out this Google Form Below!
