Congratulations to Dr. Carrie Barker (Class of 1986), Dr. Jennifer Barker (Class of 1986), and Dr. Rebecca Myers (Class of 1998) for being inducted into the Hall of Honor on October 3, 2025.
Friday, October 3rd, Bettendorf High School will honor three outstanding graduates as new members of the school’s Hall of Honor during a ceremony in the BHS Commons.

“I am extremely excited to be a part of a tradition that honors the accomplishments of our alumni in their respective fields,” said Kristy Cleppe, Principal, Bettendorf High School. “How these three individuals have taken their experiences from the Bettendorf Community School District and forged their paths is a testament to the opportunities our district creates and provides for our students. We welcome these individuals back to Bettendorf High School to celebrate their accomplishments as a district and as a community. Please join us in honoring these individuals.”
Since 1992, Bettendorf High School has been recognizing exceptional graduates through its Hall of Honor program. This honor is given to alumni who have made a significant impact in
their professional lives, positively influenced others, and distinguished themselves through public or community service.
To be considered for the Hall of Honor, nominees must meet the following criteria:
They must have graduated from Bettendorf High School at least 10 years prior to induction.
They must have achieved notable success in their career.
They must have made significant contributions to the community or society.
They must have demonstrated distinction in professional, public, and/or community service
They must have demonstrated a positive influence on the lives of others.
Inductees are honored with an engraved plaque and a crystal award at a ceremony held every other year during Homecoming week. The plaque, which features a photograph and a summary of their accomplishments, is then permanently displayed at Bettendorf High School.
