It's a tight race and the 10th and 12th graders are finishing strong. 10th grade with a win yesterday over the seniors by .1%. It's a tight race to the finish this week. What class will win FREE Kona ICE. Three more days! Senior's three wins will seal the deal. 9th grade you need to beat them to stay on top. Take care of yourself and finish strong.
The girls varsity tennis team defeated Davenport North last night 9-0. Congratulations to Olivia Jensen, Sophie Koehler, Delainey Sullivan, Anna Tryon, Eva Fiedler and Ava Tran. Congratulations also to Emma Blankenfeld, McKenzie Morrison and Hana Shouip!!! We are going to miss you girls!! The JV defeated North 4-2. Good luck to the girls going today to the North Scott JV Invite.

The Gray Matters Collective and the BHS Library are teaming up to do a bookmark design contest for Mental Health Awareness month. Pick up your template in the library, get creative, and submit by Monday, May 13th to enter the contest!
If you want to be a part of an organization that helps create a welcoming culture for new students and freshmen, then SELL Crew is the group for you. Fill out this APPLICATION by TODAY, May 2nd, if you are interested. Only sophomores and juniors can apply. Members selected will be notified by May 16th. Please read the requirements carefully before applying!
The last day to check out books from the library for the school year will be Thursday, May 15th. All library books will be due back by Thursday, May 29th. If you have lost or overdue books currently, please return them as soon as possible. Reach out to Ms. Mitola with any questions.
BHS Students, reminder that the Brain Health Retreat Room is open next to Student Services now. Hours are 9:00am-1:00pm every day except Wednesdays. Wednesdays are for staff use only. Use Minga to create a pass and talk to your teacher about taking a Brain Break in the BHRR! Come see what we offer!
It's official - Kona Ice will be coming to celebrate the winning class for our attendance challenge. One week left to go after this week. Seniors and Freshman are neck and neck daily with 10th graders creeping behind. Juniors need a strong week. Finish strong to attend. Attendance matters all year round.

Esports awards banquet and senior night will be held on Thursday, May 8th from 5-7 in the BHS Library. ALL students who have participated in Esports in any season this year are invited to attend. Esports students should check their email from Ms. Mitola to nominate their teammates for awards. Award nominations are due this Friday!
It is the last month with our seniors! Class of 2028 is selling some Send Off Sweets. Send a special senior a note and it will be delivered in their advisory on May 14th. Seniors, do you have an underclassman or teacher that deserves a little love? Feel free to buy one to be delivered as well! Please bring cash!

Conservation Club meets every Monday from 3:30 - 4:30 in room C302. If you're interested in saving species by planting flowers and testing water quality, or you're interested in going on field trips that include boating on the Mississippi River or hiking through forests, join us!!
